Happy Birthday Daddy! Plus Photos from Disneyland and DIYs!

Yesterday was my dad's birthday! Happy Birthday Daddy! We went to Disneyland! As you can see he got his picture taken with Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. He was a character created by Walt Disney in the 1920s. He looks a lot like Mickey, huh?

We went on It's A Small World a few weeks ago, and it was awesome!!  Everything was handmade!!! In It's A Small World, dolls sing and dance about their native lands all around the world. It's really good, and I highly recommend it! Here are some pictures:

Under The Sea in Hawaii. Can you spot any mermaids?

Now for some DIYs! The first one is what I call my

Happy Box

You will need:
Any kind of container or small box (I used a cleaned out yogurt container)
Duct tape or ribbon
Stickers
Small things that make you happy, such as drawings or notes from friends, quotes, or even little trinkets like a heart-shaped stone or a charm

Instructions: First wrap the container in duct tape or ribbon. You can use one type of tape or ribbon, or you can do a pattern. You can even have a theme! (As I hope you can tell, I decided to go with a Hello Kitty theme.) Don't forget the lid! Then if you want you can decorate it with stickers, but of course this is optional. After that all you have to do is fill it with your Happy Things!

Whenever you are feeling low, you can just go through your Happy Box and hopefully you will feel a little better! :)

Heart Bunting

You will need:
Hemp or string
Scrapbook paper (you can find this at craft stores such as Michael's or Hobby Lobby)
Scissors
A stapler

Instructions: First cut some hearts out of your scrapbook paper. Next cut some string or hemp, and staple the hearts to the hemp or string. Then all you have to do is hang up your Heart Bunting!

Well, that's a wrap! I will be going on a trip soon, but I will be back in time to do a Halloween post.

Peace, Love, and Craft Supplies!
