Happy Birthday Daddy! Plus Photos from Disneyland and DIYs!

Yesterday was my dad's birthday! Happy Birthday Daddy! We went to Disneyland! As you can see he got his picture taken with Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. He was a character created by Walt Disney in the 1920s. He looks a lot like Mickey, huh?

We went on It's A Small World a few weeks ago, and it was awesome!!  Everything was handmade!!! In It's A Small World, dolls sing and dance about their native lands all around the world. It's really good, and I highly recommend it! Here are some pictures:

Thailand

India

Can-Can Dancers in France

Under The Sea in Hawaii. Can you spot any mermaids?

Now for some DIYs! The first one is what I call my

Happy Box

You will need:
Any kind of container or small box (I used a cleaned out yogurt container)
Duct tape or ribbon
Stickers
Small things that make you happy, such as drawings or notes from friends, quotes, or even little trinkets like a heart-shaped stone or a charm

Instructions: First wrap the container in duct tape or ribbon. You can use one type of tape or ribbon, or you can do a pattern. You can even have a theme! (As I hope you can tell, I decided to go with a Hello Kitty theme.) Don't forget the lid! Then if you want you can decorate it with stickers, but of course this is optional. After that all you have to do is fill it with your Happy Things!

Whenever you are feeling low, you can just go through your Happy Box and hopefully you will feel a little better! :)

Heart Bunting

You will need:
Hemp or string
Scrapbook paper (you can find this at craft stores such as Michael's or Hobby Lobby)
Scissors
A stapler

Instructions: First cut some hearts out of your scrapbook paper. Next cut some string or hemp, and staple the hearts to the hemp or string. Then all you have to do is hang up your Heart Bunting!

Well, that's a wrap! I will be going on a trip soon, but I will be back in time to do a Halloween post.

Peace, Love, and Craft Supplies!

Camping!

This week we went on a spontaneous camping trip!! I've been begging my parents to go camping for months, and finally, a couple days ago they decided to go camping that very day!

We went camping in Idyllwild. It was so much fun!

Look at the size of that pine cone my mom found!!

I thought this tree stump was so perfectly doll-sized I just had to take a picture!

We had been hearing lots of music during our camping trip, and we didn't know where it was coming from. It was really mysterious! Finally me and my dad decided to go try and find out where it was coming from. It turned out to be a music camp.

At night we made a fire and me and Ginger had fun throwing sticks and leaves into it. We couldn't roast marshmallows because our grocery store only sells mini marshmallows, but that was OK because we had cookies instead. I tried to get a photo of the fire, but it was too dark.

Later, when we were lying in our sleeping bags in the tent, we heard coyotes howling. It was REALLY loud!!! But it was also really cool, and they soon stopped.

I think I forgot to mention in my last post that I turned 12 recently!! Yay! Also, I have big news. We will be publishing my mystery novel, Charlotte's First Mystery, soon!!! I will write a post when we do.

Coming up soon, some DIYs!

Peace, Love, and Mountains!

P.S. Comment down below where your favorite place to camp is!

Legos!

Hello!
I'm afraid I had to cancel the Easter Holiday post this year. Sorry! But here are some cool new Lego things!

My dad got me and my sisters a set from the Lego Movie! This is the cloud castle and Unikitty it came with. I rearranged the cloud castle a bit because I couldn't find some of the pieces, but I think it turned out pretty good.

One of the things the set came with was Wildstyle, but I put Wildstyle's hair on one of my mermaids instead of on Wildstyle.

Here is a little "underwater" scene that me and my dad made.

Have you watched The Lord of The Rings? If you have, you might recognize this scene that my dad made. Isn't it cool?!

He even got some of the Lord of The Rings characters, including Legolas, my favorite character from the Lord of The Rings. Here he is with his bow and arrows.

Bye for now!

Horse Camp and Book Reviews!

Hello! I just got back from horse camp!

We got to ride horse and ponies. This is me on Butters. And sometimes we got to ride on our own, too!

Also, I have started a GoodReads account. Click HERE to read some of my book reviews. I'm going to be reviewing some Dragon Slayers Academy books soon, as well as some more Magic Tree House books and American Girl books. (I just finished some library books.)

Easter is coming soon! I will do a Easter post soon.

Peace, Love, and Horses!

Legos and other Photos!

I hope you all had a good St. Patrick's Day!

Raise your hand if you like Legos! Me, my sisters, and my dad were just making a Lego town yesterday. My dad made this Lego cottage for me as a surprise, and I decorated it and added some other things too.

Here is my dad's cabin:

Isn't it awesome?

Look at this cool photo my mom took of me:

The quote is from Peter Pan.

Hey, guess who's in the new Muppet movie? Me!!!

 Hehe, just kidding!

What do you do when your dad's in the grocery store and you're waiting for him in the car with your sisters and mom? Take a silly photo, of course!

That's all for today!

Peace, love, and boogie boards!

Beach and Valentine's Day Photos!

Hello!

I hope you had a chocolatey Valentine's Day! Here are some photos of my Valentine's Day!

Mmm, pancakes with chocolate sauce!

My aunt made me this cool Valentine!

Ginger got a dinosaur valentine!

My mom and dad made me and my sisters, Ashley and Ginger, this Valentine!

My grandma and grandpa sent me these cute stickers!

We went to the beach at Encinitas! I found some really cool shells!

I helped Ginger to make her very first sandcastle!

Ginger said she wanted to "look for mermaids" but she was scared of the waves so I picked her up. =)

Peace, love, and cupcakes!
