Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is almost here! What are you thankful for? I'm thankful for my family, friends, clean water, healthy food, a safe home, cars, airplanes, email, phones, kindness, understanding, peace, nature, books, music, fun, etc etc.

If you're on Animal Jam, send me a Jam-a-Gram saying Cornbread, and I'll send you either a silver brick, a pilgrim hat, a turkey hat, an orange welcome place mat, or an orange mailbox. Make sure to tell me in the Jam-a-Gram saying which one you want. And if it's the pilgrim hat or turkey hat, please say what color you want.

I'm not sure what else to put in this post. Hmm...oh, I know! Here are some Thanksgiving questions and my answers. Some of them are funny! After reading my answers, why don't you answers my questions yourself? You can ask family and friends the questions too! It's really fun!

Q: What are you thankful for?
A: Hey, I already said what I'm thankful for!
Q: What's your favorite Thanksgiving food?
A: The cornbread!! And this year, I get to make it!!!

Q: Do you like turkey?
A: Nope.
Q: Did you know that there's such a thing as chocolate covered turkey?
A: Yep, I found out from a Gilmore Girls episode!

Q: Have you ever dressed up like a turkey or a pilgrim before?
A: I'm not sure. I might have when I was four or five.
Q: Have you ever worn Thanksgiving nail stickers before?
A: No, but I plan to someday!

Q: Which of these Thanksgiving pies do you like better, apple pie, pumpkin pie, or pecan pie?
A: Apple pie.
Q: Which of these Thanksgiving colors do you like better, orange, red, yellow, or brown?
A: Yellow.

Well, that's I can think of. Have a fantastic Thanksgiving!

P.S. Lauren, I'm sorry, my email account is not working, so I haven't been able to check my messages. My dad is going to try to fix it soon.

Our Weekend

On Saturday we went to Santa Rosa Plateau. I brought Nancy with me on Saturday, but I forgot to take photos of her.

Here's me and Ashley and Ginger walking down the bridge at Santa Rosa Plateau. You can't really see Ginger because she's in front of Ashley.

Here's me and Ginger walking on the trail.

We all took turns holding hands with Ginger. Here's my dad's turn, with me and Ashley farther up ahead.

Here's us on the 300 year old tree. My parents are going to use this photo for our Christmas card.

On Sunday we went to Lake Skinner. On the way we stopped at Target so my mom could quickly run in while we waited in the car. Here's Ginger taking the car for a joyride. Hahaha!

As we drove to Lake Skinner we passed some army men in tank-looking cars. I waved to them. They certainly saw me, but the were quite content on just sitting in the car with serious faces.

Here's me at Lake Skinner. Isn't the lake so pretty?! I love how it's glittering.

Well, that's the pictures from the weekend! We also went to an all gluten free cafe and bakery for lunch and a treat each, but I forgot to take photos of that. I had a yummy pulled pork sandwich and a sugar cookie. Also, here's a picture Lauren made!

One more thing: My collage from American Girl's new My Style Collage game!

Well, that's all for today. Wishing you a day full of fun,

Guess where I went?!

Maybe this picture will help you guess.

American Girl? Wow, how did you know? Hahaha! Here are the things I got: (With my own money)

The Pet Carrier Set!

Here's Nancy's pet kitten, Praline, trying her new carrier out. She loves it!

Here's the tag for if it gets lost. I haven't filled it out yet, but I will soon.

Here's the adorable blanket and treat bowl the carrier came with. (And yes, the tag did come with the tag carrier also.)

The I Love Pet Pjs!

Close up of the I Love Pet Pjs top

Close up of the I Love Pets Pjs leggings and slippers

The School Backpack Set!

Here are the straps. Sorry, I forgot to take a picture of Nancy wearing her backpack. I will soon!

Here's the textbook and notebook that it came with...

...and the pencils and waterbottle that it came with!

The Weekend Fun Outfit!

The shirt is much cuter in real life. (Yes, some of Nancy's hair is purple. No, I didn't dye it myself, she came like that.)

Not only do these shoes that the outfit came with look great with the outfit itself, but they also match Nancy's best dress!

Wishing you a happy Tuesday,

Zoe B

P.S. In case you were wondering, I didn't do the Zoe Bee name tag because I'm on my computer and the name tag is on my mom's computer. But I'll put it in my next post!

Samurai Exhibit in Portland, Oregon

A helmet. Notice the wheat crops and grasshoppers. I think it's interesting that this helmet has a cute design, and the other helmets are creepy.

Pretty Asian scroll.

Samurai wore creepy armor to freak out they're opponents. Aaaah!

A sword. ( a very fancy one, if you ask me.)

Ginger is obsessed with shoes!

Chest with family crest. (I can't remember if it's a royal family crest, or just a family crest.)

Beautiful painted shell!

He sure looks angry!

Look at the dragon and clouds on his armor!

Happy Halloween!

Hello!

I'm sorry for getting this post up so late! I didn't realize Halloween was tomorrow until today!

Anyhoo, here's how to make some doll costumes, a Halloween decoration idea, and also, if you're on Animal Jam, send me, SealGirl47078, a Jam a Gram saying Halloween Cupcakes, and I'll send you some Animal Jam Halloween gifts!

As requested by Lauren, How to make a doll maiden costume:

You will need:

A doll dress, preferably in dark blue, purple, or yellow, or if you don't have one, most fabric stores will have solid colored fabric so you can sew a doll dress for instructions on seeing a doll dress go on YouTube there are lots of videos on how to sew a doll dress on there just remember it has to be long.

Ribbon or if you don't have ribbon a fabric that is a different color from the dress

Felt that, preferably, matches the ribbon

Scissors

Glue, fabric glue works best

A small bow that matches the fabric that's a different color from the dress

Instructions:

Once you have the dress, take the fabric that is a different color from the dress, and cut it into thin strips. Then take the glue and sort of draw criss crosses down the middle. Then place the strips on the glue so that the strips are criss crossing too. Also put glue on the fabric strips that have fabric strips going over them. Then glue the small bow at the top.

As requested by Julia, How to make a doll mermaid costume:

You will need:

One long doll skirt. It can be any color you want. If you don't have one or you can't find one at a store or if you don't have enough money for one, take a cute sock that nobody uses, stretch it out, and pull it over your doll's legs.

Matching sequins and glue or a matching marker

A doll tank top, doll bathing suit, or a doll T-shirt that you would not mind cutting

Cloth, glue, and a barrette (optional)

Instructions:

Take the doll skirt and either glue the matching sequins on for scales, or draw scales on with the matching marker.

Take the fabric and draw a flower on it. Then cut the flower out and glue it onto the barrette. Now you have the tail, the flower for your doll's hair. Now put on your doll's bathing suit or tank top, or if you don't have either of those, take the doll T-shirt and cut the sleeves to turn it into a tank top. After you've put your doll in the tank top or bathing suit, put the tail and flower on her.

Spooky window decoration!

You'll need:

An empty pizza box

Things to decorate the box like markers, glitter, paint, stickers, plastic spiders, etc.

Scissors

Tape

Instructions: Decorate the inside of the pizza box, making it look like there's scary stuff outside, like ghosts, a witch (or several witches) riding broomsticks, a black cat with bright green eyes, goblins, etc. Then make a border that looks like a window sill and window frame. Do the same with the bottom part of the pizza box. Then cut the too "windows" apart and tape each one to you bedroom walls.

Well, that's all. Happy Halloween!!!!!!

Wishing you lots of yummy Halloween candy,

Doll Pumpkin buckets!!

I was at a bookstore, when I saw an itty bitty pumpkin bucket on a shelf as decoration. I thought, "it's a perfect doll pumpkin bucket!!" So of course I had to ask the saleslady where they got it. She told me they got it at WallGreens. So, today we went to WallGreens. Did I find them, you ask? Yes, I did!!!! They came only in a six pack, but oh well. They were $1.99, not including tax.

Well, that's all for today! Don't forget to comment what doll costume you want me to post how to make down below by clicking the tiny word comments. (I really need to find some way to make it more visable!!)

Bye!
